Global ‘Rules Based Order’ Disintegrating
A world transformed by Al Aqsa Flood is already here
Today, nations are demanding a Palestinian state as an imperative reality. The idea of Israel being the ‘global north’ of a geopolitical order is repugnant to much US youth. Substantial international relations and allegiances have been impacted. US troops have been evicted from Iraq and Syria. Gulf state leaders pose smiling alongside Iranian diplomats as Saudi refuses to confirm its much vaunted ‘normalisation’ with Israel.
One day changed the world
October 7 2023 may lead the world on a path towards rejecting the Biden-led ’rules based order,’ transformations which are being applauded, in Istanbul this week.
One year on from the Al Aqsa flood mission, the conference, “Palestine: The Linchpin of Civilization Renaissance” is hosting some of the most clued up thinkers on the Palestinian question and the resulting global tides.
Sombre not gloomy
Western guest speakers include media analyst and film maker Max Blumenthal, Geopolitical Analyst Pepe Escobar and Scott Ritter, former US Intelligence Officer and UN Weapons Inspector (via zoom). Iranian thought is presented via professor Professor Mohammad Marandi, of the University of Tehran. Whose presence, before a predominantly Sunni audience, is a mixture of pain and pleasure.
In the auditorium, a different jigsaw puzzle is being assembled to that of the fractured reality Kamala Harris, Netanyahu and their media servants, are still trying to force on the world.
As more than 3 million refugees in Gaza and Lebanon suffer displacedment as a direct result of Zionist violence, questions being posed include:
‘How the collective Arab/Muslim response will be different from previous decades?’ The important word in that sentence is ‘how’ as opposed to ‘if’.
Epic Heroism
For experts and invitees here, Al Aqsa Flood, was an act of ‘epic heroism’. A breakout from concentration camp Gaza, long awaited. An action which will continue to grow and morph in the public-political realms until the complete liberation of all Palestinian land ‘from the river to the sea’.
As western hegemony continues to pour good money after bad, attempting to suppress, what it paints as ‘Russian expansionism’, an even greater challenge looms on the horizon. An ethics based, socio-economic reality which, according to Scott Ritter, will eliminate Biden’s laughable ‘rules based order’. Namely, the set of rules and clauses enforced upon other nations — or else.
This new challenge to the western will, is emerging because of, not despite, events of October 7.
From a flood, new forests emerge
Pepe Escober, Geopolitical Analyst from Brazil applauds the significance of the upcoming BRICS working groups, taking place in Russia on October 17. Meetings, to which, the mass media and general public have not given nearly enough attention, he says.
BRICS, says Escobar, will attempt, ‘to build an alternative financial system from scratch.’
This is massive.
Such a system would sideline US/Israeli interests, and could radically address the inequalities of the crumbling capitalist system.
Cleansing waters
Linguistically, a flood refers to a raging water, so deep and powerful nothing can escape its impact. It affects everything in its wake.
A fitting name then for a one-day operation, involving lightly armed resistance from an impoverished, embargoed, blockaded, bit of land, which has succeede in upending the globalist ‘world order.’
Dr Issam Al Bashir, Vice President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, sees the removal of fear from the Muslim mind, as a major battle front, emboldened by the courage of fighters from Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
As a result, he says, even some Muslim world leaders, have been ‘freed from petty arguments between schools of thoughts’ which had for decades drained the Arab region of rational, creative, energy.
We can see this happening on the world stage already. Last week, the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal Bin Farhan, where they discussed the Israeli aggression on Lebanon and Palestine. Their call was for unity among Islamic countries to confront Israeli crimes.
‘I support you as Hezbollah and Iran against Zionism’ an arab elder yelled, as Professor Marandi came off stage. ‘But you must know we are very, very, angry about what you (Iran in Syria) has done.’
The flood may be washing away sectarian partisan regional disputes which kept Arabs and Iranians in alienated trenches. But the scars will take longer to heal.
A civilisational renaissance
Islamic reinvigoration is popping its head above the bloodied parapet of international relations. Paralysed because of mental colonisation and fragmented by sectarian fissures, which disabled unity from Beirut to Baghdad, a slumbering power, awakes: The Ummah, the Muslim World Order.
Catalyst for change
Muneer Saeed of Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine told a rapt audience of thought leaders from across the globe, ’zionism had domesticated the Palestinians until the new wave of resistance, set a new path.’
What about Hamas?
After 12 months in which Gazan culture, society, and more than 200,000 civilians have suffered death or injury, are they now debris, washed up by the very tide they set in motion?
Hamas official, Osama Hamdan, said, the world today ‘stands at a historic milestone that offers an alternative to a bankrupt materialist civilisation.’
He stated new leaders are in place after the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh. Further, that the Gazan resistance has new fighters on the ground with an energy ‘like on the first day of this battle’. As the West Bank experiences bombardment and nightly military raids, Hamden says, tresistance forces their are mobilising and ‘what is coming is even better, inshallah’.
International law is having its compass forcefully reset from due north to the global south. Somewhat shockingly it is hard to deny that Islamic jihad has driven this change of direction.
Scott Ritter summed up the essence of this 3 day conference, when he said:
’October the 7th began the disintegration of the rules based order and we can now see it for what it is. The world owes Hamas the greatest debt of thanks.’
